Never heard of a J4? Basically, it is a side-by-side J3. Except, where the J3 is a puppy dog, the J4 has a bit of an attitude. Less visibility over the nose. More demanding on the ground handling. Hand prop. Portable radio and intercom. At a field elevation of 4,450' MSL, with its 65-hp and chubbier figure, it doesn't have much performance left to draw upon. But this is what the client wanted to learn in so this became their trainer of choice. Any aircraft is a trainer if that's the only one you have available, right?
