27 Jul 2006: This is the area of burn from a grass fire a few weeks earlier. The cluster of buildings is Montana State University's agricultural experiment station at Red Bluff, just outside of Norris. This fire destroyed an old two-story stone structure which originally was a stage stop for travelers to and from Virginia City.
