27 Jan, 1992. Brooks was the type of student who makes it a joy to teach. He knew what he wanted to fly, and could make it happen. So it was that he completed much of his private pilot course work in his personal Stearman. When my pro pilot brother Joe (front) visited, Brooks tossed us the keys and commanded, "Have a ball!"
