Pop was known as a master gunsmith, church elder, family man, and WWII vet. Few people outside the family appreciated his amazing artistic talent. We children were always used to seeing pop's doodlings and sketches around. It wasn't until looking at the huge collection mom archived over the years that one grasps the depth of pop's work. His art reflects the personality that photographs can't capture. And, as much as anything, it is this playfulness and humor that we will miss.
